was born in 1980 and has one child, a boy, aged 2. She is from a small
town in the Transkei called Centane which is part of the Wild Coast area. She

BUBELE MALGAS
Bubele Malgas resides in
Mdantsane and is 23 years old. He is the most industrious of all the
beaders (including the women!) and you can always count on him to
produce high quality goods in record time.

NO-INET BOOI
No-inet
was born in 1956 and is a divorcee with 4 children, two girls (aged 20
and 12) and two boys (aged 23 and 9). Like many women in the informal
settlement she is the sole breadwinner and does not receive any
maintenance to assist her in caring for her youngest children.
She is
originally from Needs Camp, but now resides in the Duncan Village
Informal Settlement. |
